About the website

Accessibility

Guidelines have been drawn up by WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative, a working group within W3C, World Wide Web Consortium) for how information and services may be designed so as to make homepages and other websites accessible.

This is a homepage / webshop designed to be accessible to everyone. By accessibility we mean e.g. that the website should function well irrespective of the visitor.s web browser, operating system or any cognitive limitations e.g. problems of comprehension.

Basic Contruction

W3C approved standards and guidelines are used on the website as they are intended to be used. This means, for example, that HTML 4.01 is used to structure the content, and that CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are used to control the content of the website.

Users possessing equipment that does not support style sheets can access the information on the website even if the style sheets cannot be interpreted. The content is then presented unformatted but with full functionality.

Web browsers

Older browsers (that do not support contemporary standards) and text-based browsers may lack support for style sheets. Follow the links below to upgrade your web browser.

PC (Windows)

Mac

Linux

Screen resolution

The website has been optimised to create the best possible overview in resolutions that are 1024x768 or higher.

Adapt font size

The website has been constructed so that it is simple to increase or decrease the text size by choosing .Bigger. or .Smaller. font in the browser menu. Line spacing, word spacing and character spacing increase or decrease for the best user experience.

Changes in font size can however result in changes to the appearance of the website. Read more about how you can change the font size under Adapt.

Help texts

On links which in themselves do not describe content there are help texts, which in most browsers are shown as a tooltip when you position the cursor over the link.
